How do I care for my nylon strap?
There is essentially nothing you need to do to maintain these straps. The underside of the strap can be cleaned with diluted antibacterial hand soap from time to time to keep them fresh.
When cleaning nylon straps, allow them to air dry (do not heat/trumble dry them). It is quite safe to throw a nylon strap in a household laundry washing machine, along with your clothes. Just be sure to air-dry the strap afterwards.
Which spring bars fit your nylon straps?
It depends on the design of the watch lugs. Some lugs have leave only a tiny space between the spring bar and the watch case, which would make fitting the fat spring bars difficult. For the large majority of watches, the fat spring bars will work fine with regular NATO straps.
Fat spring bars will also work with the thicker Heavy Duty NATO straps on watches with ample lug space. The extra strength and quality of the fat spring bars make a great safety and strength upgrade when paired with a one piece nylon strap.
